Mara | Animation

Sleep paralysis is a total inability to move for a brief period that occurs as one is either falling asleep or awakening from sleep. While the eyes are open, dreams can be projected onto surroundings. Other symptoms of an episode of sleep paralysis include an inability to speak, vivid hallucinations and intense fear. MARA is a 3D animated video in combination with 2D elements. The Story in MARA follows a girl experiencing a horrific sleep paralysis, in which a sleep paralysis demon drags her into a transcendental world. Each room shows a different stage of fear inspired by "Ekmans Atlas of Emotions."
